My son has been to many hospital/assessment appointments in the past and he reported ‘that is the best hospital appointment I’ve been to’ Ashleigh made the assessment fun and managed to maintain his concentration and attention throughout the 90 minute assessment, she was amazing with my son, kind patience and understanding of the challenges he experienced when trying to complete tasks. At the end of the assessment Ashleigh explained in detail her findings and gave me the explanations behind his difficulties, she gave me ideas on how I can support my son. I received my sons report quickly which was very detailed and also had a brilliant summary at the end with lists of things that will support my son in school and at home, I was then able to give this to my son’s school to be implemented in his school day to support him with his current challenges. I feel I have a much better understanding which enables me and his school to support him to the best of our abilities
Ashleigh has made a great difference for our child in the term that we have been seeing her. We travel quite a way to be able to have regular therapy as the treatment available is the best Sensory Processing option we have found in our area. Ashleigh’s knowledge and know-how about SPD is fantastic and our child really enjoys the sessions – he has no idea he is having therapy! There is also the added value of Ashleigh’s professionalism so everything is well monitored and benchmarked so that progress can be reviewed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.
Ashleigh is a fantastic therapist and I am very happy that I found Live and Love it. All very professional, fully equipped. First, we had OT assessment followed by a report and detailed feedback then we have agreed on sessions. My boy enjoys his sessions and he really likes Ashleigh, she is fantastic with the children so they feel comfortable during sessions. Ashleigh explains everything to me and gives advice on what I can do between sessions and altogether just after few meetings worked wonders! I can see huge progress and that makes me very happy. I should also add that English is not our first language but that’s not a problem at all, my son listens, learn and work with the therapies regardless language barrier and it works very well. An overall fantastic workplace that truly helps your child develop, highly recommend.
