The following packages provide an assessment of sensory processing and motor skills, self-care and independence, play and academic skills. They are suited to families wishing to better understand their child’s needs, those seeking private therapy input and those applying for Education, Health and Care Plans.
School Age Assessments
Primary School: Age 4-11 years
- Developmental history and Activities of Daily living questionnaire
- Sensory Processing Measure (SPM) for home and school
- 2-hour assessment at our studio to evaluate:
- Gross and fine motor skills
- Handwriting
- Visual perception
- Play and interaction skills
- Self-care skills
- Sensory processing
Secondary School: 12+
- Developmental history and Activities of Daily living questionnaire
- Adult/Adolescent sensory profile
- 2-hour assessment at our studio and discussions with the young person to evaluate:
- Gross and fine motor skills
- Independence skills
- Play and interaction (including access to leisure activities)
- Sensory Processing
- Handwriting; motor coordination and visual motor skills.
Home-Schoolers: Age 4+
We have many children on our caseloads who are homeschooled. This assessment package and recommendations will be tailored to the needs of the home-school child.

- Home school questionnaire – to be completed by parents and tutors

- 2-hour assessment at our studio to evaluate:
